NEW Ajou's Graduate School of International Studies holds a graduation ceremony for the Cambodian Financial Staff Program sp

'2018 KFB  Ajou University Program for Cambodian Financial Staff' was successfully concluded. Korea Federation of Banks (KFB) provides scholarship funds for the six-month program to produce local staff members for financial institutions operating in Cambodia.




The graduation ceremony, which was held on December 21st in Yulgok Hall's Video Conference Room, began with a report on the activities of program participants, followed by congratulatory messages by Professor Yong Ki Kim of the Department of Business Administration and KFB Director Hye Gyeong Kim and a presentation of the certificates of graduation.


 


The Program kicked off last October and the 29 graduates, who have gained knowledge in financial risks and IT, will work as interns for the next three months at Korean banks in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.


 


Ajou University covers part of the tuition and dormitory fees for the Cambodian students during the Program, and KFB is providing scholarship funds of 180 million won from 2017 to 2019.
