Dean Beom Jin Lee of Ajou's College of Pharmacy receives the Grand Service Award of the Republic of Korea

Dean Beom Jin Lee of Ajou University's College of Pharmacy (pictured above) received the Award in the Medicine & Drug category at the 2016 Ceremony for the Republic of Korea True Service Award, which was held at 2 p.m. on November 22nd in the National Assembly Memorial Hall.


Launched last year, the Republic of Korea True Service Award presents awards to those who practiced the spirit of sharing and service for their communities, the country, and all humanity in the nine categories of economy, science, human rights, laws, education, medicine & drug, regional development, social contribution, and culture, sports, and the arts. The award ceremony is hosted by the relevant organizing committee (Chairman Hee Moon).


The award winners were selected based on their contributions to the development of the nine respective areas including the national economy.


The Medicine & Drug category where Dean Lee received the Grand Award was the most competitive due to the number of candidates that were considered.
