Ajou's Professor Hyun Chul Yoon wins an academic award from the Korean BioChip Society

Ajou University Professor Hyun Chul Yoon (Department of Applied Chemical & Biological Engineering, Graduate School's Department of Molecular Science and Technology, pictured on the right above) was selected by the Korean BioChip Society (KBCS) as the winner of the BioChip Journal Award (in the Most Cited Paper category).


KBCS presents the awards to the researchers who contribute to promoting BioChip Journal internationally, which is an international academic journal published by KBCS and Springer.


Professor Yoon received the award for his paper entitled 'Paper-based Glucose Biosensing System Utilizing a Smartphone as a Signal Reader.' He represented his research team consisting of postdoctoral researchers in Graduate School's Department of Molecular Science and Technology, including Hyeong Jin Jeon, Yoo Min Park, Yo Han Chang, and Yong Deok Han.


The award was presented during the KBCS Conference held in Busan from October 26th to the 28th.
