Ajou's College of Humanities signs an agreement with Kangnam University's Senior Industry Division

On October 25th, Ajou University's College of Humanities signed an agreement with Kangnam University's Senior Industry Division. The two universities agreed to join hands in fostering talents who will lead the development of the senior industry and innovations in the area, etc.


At the ceremony held in Ajou's Yulgok Hall, Dean Man Ghyu Pak of the College of Humanities from Ajou University and Dean of the College of Fine Arts and Physical Education and Director of the Senior Industry Division Ho Chyun Chey signed and exchanged the agreement.


Under the agreement, the two institutions will work together to foster creative talents who will lead the senior industry in the area and carry out interdisciplinary convergence research, etc. The agreement is set to boost Ajou's project entitled 'Digital Collaboration for Mental Health in an Aging Society,' which the College of Humanities has been conducting from last year as part of the Convergence Research Center (CRC) Project. Professors from Ajou's School of Medicine and College of Information Technology are participating in the CRC Project as well as Professor Jung Sik Park (Department of English Language and Literature), the project leader.


The agreement signing ceremony was attended by Dean Man Ghyu Pak, Professor Jung Sik Park (Director of the Center for Medical Humanities and Convergent Contents), and Director Jong Sik Kim of Graduate School's Department of Digital Humanities and Convergence from Ajou University and Dean Ho Chyun Chey, Vice President for Admissions Yeong Rahn Park, and Vice President for Student Affairs Noh Shik Park, etc., from Kangnam University.
