Ajou's Professor Hai Sook Kim is selected as 'Scholar of the Year' by the Korean Psychological Association

Ajou University Professor Hai Sook Kim (Department of Psychology, pictured above) was selected as 'Scholar of the Year' by the Korean Psychological Association (KPA).


KPA made the selection during the 2016 Annual Conference, which was held for two nights and three days from August 18th at the Gunsan Exhibition & Convention Center.


KPA chooses members who have contributed to its development through outstanding academic achievements in psychology as the Scholar of the Year. This year, the honor went to Professor Kim and Emeritus Professor Jeong Nak Son from Chonbuk National University.


Established in 1946, KPA currently has about 15,000 members.


Professor Kim obtained her doctoral degree in 1987 from the University of Iowa in the U.S. and has worked at Ajou's Department of Psychology since 1990.
