[16.07.01]

On June 29th, Ajou University held a ceremony for commissioning high school teachers as advisors for the 2017 academic year in Yulgok Hall's Video Conference Room.

The University's Office of Admissions appoints high school teachers as advisors to consider their ideas in developing student selection programs and to ensure educational consistency and build trust with high schools.

The ceremony was attended by about thirty teachers who were named advisors. The event began with greetings by Ajou's Vice President for Admissions Jung Ju Choi, followed by greetings from a teacher representative, an explanation of the roles of the advisors, an introduction of the University's student selection for 2017 academic year, the presentation of certificates of appointment to the teachers, and a Q&A session.

The Office of Admissions communicates with advisors from about thirty high schools on student selection and issues related to high school education. The advisors can participate in workshops and lectures hosted by the University and their schools have priority in events that are organized by the Office, including on-site presentations at high schools.
