Ajou's departments that successfully arranged the visit of Indonesian President Joko Widodo are selected as the Department of the Month

Ajou's departments that successfully organized the visit of Indonesian President Joko Widodo to the University were selected as the Department of the Month and a ceremony was held on May 31st in the Office of the President to recognize the staff members.
 
 
The selected departments are Planning Team and Audit Team, which organized the event in general, and the Office of International Affairs, the Office of International Projects, and the Center for International Education, which were in charge of protocol and translation, etc. President Dong Yeon Kim invited the members of all the departments to his office and praised their efforts and gave them movie tickets.
 
 
Close cooperation among the departments allowed for a successful event surrounding the visit of Indonesian President Joko Widodo on May 17th, though it was scheduled on short notice.
 
 
President Kim shook hands with each and every staff member and expressed his thanks, saying, "I commend your hard work and you did an excellent job in organizing the event despite the limited time available," adding, "President Joko Widodo’s visit helped considerably in elevating the status of the University."
