Ajou's Professor Hyung Chun Lee is named as an 'Excellent Evaluator' by the National Research Foundation of Korea

Ajou University Professor Hyung Chun Lee (Department of Mathematics) was named as an 'Excellent Evaluator for the 2015 Basic Research Projects' by the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRFK).
 
 
Since 2008, NRFK has been selecting 'Excellent Evaluators for Basic Research Projects' in order to discover experts with in-depth expertise and evaluation capabilities. 
 
 
The Excellent Evaluators are announced in five categories every year – Natural Science, Bio Science, Medical & Pharmaceutical Science, Engineering, and Electronic Information Convergence Science. NRFK actively reflects their evaluation results in its projects to encourage outstanding evaluators to participate in planning basic research projects and appraising major research tasks, etc.
 
 
Professor Lee was chosen as the Excellent Evaluator in recognition of his expertise and sincerity during his work as an evaluator in the basic research projects carried out by NRFK. 
 
 
Professor Lee obtained his doctoral degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in the U.S. He has worked as a professor at Ajou's Department of Mathematics since 1996 and is actively serving as the Chairman of the Korean Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics.
