Ajou's LINC Project Group donates rice to the underprivileged in the community

2015-12-31

Ajou University's LINC (Leaders in INdustry-college Cooperation) Project Group reached out to underprivileged neighbors at the turn of the year for a second straight year.

On December 30th, the LINC Project Group delivered 120 kg of rice, which was sponsored by the University's partner companies during the '2015 Ajou University GREATIVE Industry-Academia Cooperation Festival’ held from December 7th through the 11th, to the Wooman-dong Social Welfare Center. The rice will be distributed to neighbors who are having financial difficulties.

The Festival was prepared to spread the accomplishments and best practices, and discover new models of Industry-Academia Cooperation.

Executive Vice President for Industry-Academia Cooperation and Director of the LINC Project Group Kyung Hee Choi said during the rice donation event, "This is a token of our compassion. I ask you to use it for our disadvantaged neighbors." Also in attendance at the event were Director Jae Gyeong Hwang from the Wooman-dong Social Welfare Center, etc.
