Ajou's Seung Hoon Chae and Hyeon Seung Choi (Department of e-Business) win Excellent Paper Awards from the Korea Intelligent Information Systems Society

Ajou University's Seung Hoon Chae and Hyeon Seung Choi (Department of e-Business) won Excellent Paper Awards in the Fall Academic Conference of the Korea Intelligent Information Systems Society (KIISS).


The Conference was held on November 27th at Yonsei University under the theme of 'Smart Space Information Technology for the Creative Economy.'


Chae (junior, guided by Professor Ju Young Kang) won the award with his paper entitled "Comparative Analysis of User Experiences of Social Commerce and Open Markets via Online Reviews," and Choi (junior, guided by Professor Sung Byung Yang) had the honor of receiving the award with his paper entitled "Factors That Influence the Shift from Online Shopping to Webrooming." Their research papers are based on the ideas they came up with while attending classes in their majors.


KIISS, which was established in 1993, aims to conduct academic research in intelligent information systems and participate in related industry-academia cooperation and international exchanges, etc. This year's Fall Conference featured active exchanges about Big Data, text mining, and smart learning, etc.
