Ajou's Professor Tae Won Park wins 'Dynamics and Control Academic Award' from the Korean Society of Mechanical Engineers

Ajou University's Professor Tae Won Park (Department of Mechanical Engineering) won the 'Dynamics and Control Academic Award' from the Korean Society of Mechanical Engineers (KSME). The award was presented during the Special Academic Conference marking the 70th anniversary of KSME, which was held from November 10th to the 14th at the International Convention Center in Jeju.


Professor Park received the Award in recognition of his accomplishments in the field of dynamics and control. He has steadily conducted research in railroads and automobiles, etc. for many years.


Established in 1945, KSME has led academic and technological development in the field of mechanical engineering. It has about 20,000 members and 8 branches throughout the nation. KSME has 13 divisions related to mechanical engineering - Materials and Fracture, Computer-aided Engineering (CAE) and applied mechanics, Dynamics and Control, Production and Design Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Fluid Engineering, Energy and Power Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Bio Engineering, Micro·Nano Engineering, Plants, IT Convergence, and Education.
