Ajou's Graduate School of Public Affairs provides senior Suwon City officials with education on Social Network Service

Ajou University's Graduate School of Public Affairs provides senior Suwon City officials with customized education for improving their capabilities on Social Network Service (SNS). The Suwon City government asked the Graduate School of Public Affairs to offer the SNS education to help its officials better promote the municipal administration.


The education program includes lectures on theories of utilizing SNS that are needed for public officials and practices that will help them to apply what they have learned. Suwon City is actively using SNS to communicate with its citizens in real time and promote its administration.


About 100 senior officials from Suwon City will participate in the SNS education, which will be held twice per week from November 9th to December 16th.


Ajou's Graduate School of Public Affairs is providing several education programs at the request of the Suwon City government. One of them is the Key Leaders Education Program for Suwon City Officials (Grade 6) that was launched this year. The program includes 19 subjects including “The Changing Administrative Environment and Local Government Administration for the Future,” “Proper Views of Public Positions,” “Laws and Regulations Relevant to Municipal Officials,” and “Education on Informatization.”
