At 4 p.m. on November 10th, a ceremony was held for presenting the Akyung Scholarship certificates at Ajou University’s Video Conference Room in Yulgok Hall. A total of 56 million won in scholarships was presented to Ajou's twenty-one students.

The certificate presentation ceremony was attended by Chairman Hyeong Gyun Kim and other directors from the Akyung Scholarship Foundation, President Dong Yeon Kim, and other University officials. The scholarship presentation ceremony began with the presentation of scholarship certificates, followed by the delivery of plaques of appreciation by the scholarship recipients, words of encouragement by the Akyeong Scholarship Foundation Chairman, and congratulatory remarks.

Jae Yeon Lee (Department of Law), In Gyu Lee (Department of Transportation System Engineering), Dae Hwan Rho (Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering), Dong Yun Yang (Department of Mathematics), Ji Woong Kim (Department of Business Administration), Hye Mi Yang (Department of English Language and Literature), and Seul Gi Son (Department of Psychology) were selected as the Best Akyung Scholarship recipients. The Akyung Vision Scholarships went to Cha Gu Choi and Chae Won Yeo (master's course, Graduate School of Business Administration), and the General Scholarships was granted to Eun Gyo Yun (Department of Public Administration), respectively. Yeong Ji Noh and Ji Heon Lee (Department of Business Administration) received scholarships as graduates of the 52nd master’s course. The Global Scholarships were given to Dong Feifei, You Xiang, Chen Xiao Xuan, Bayar, Li Mengting, and Chen Lin (Department of Business Administration), Lukas and Abate (Doctor, Department of Business Administration), and Haile (Doctor, Department of Management Information Systems).

The Foundation Chairman Kim said to the scholarship recipients, “I would like to congratulate and give words of encouragement to the scholarship recipients here,” adding, "I expect that you will be able to contribute to society after graduation."

President Dong Yeon Kim said, "I believe you won't consider the scholarships you have received today as ‘something free.’ I ask that you try to pay them back to society in one way or another in the future.”

The Akyung Scholarship Foundation was established in 2007 by the General Alumni Association of Ajou’s Graduate School of Business Administration, and it donates about 100 million won in scholarships every year.
