Ajou is selected as a University Creative Job Center by the Ministry of Employment and Labor

Ajou University was selected as a University Creative Job Center by the Ministry of Employment and Labor (MEL). MEL launched the project to help jobseekers conveniently receive services related to finding jobs and starting businesses at their respective universities.


On October 5th, MEL announced that it chose twenty one universities for the scheme, including Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Sookmyung Women's University, and Sangmyung in Seoul, and Ajou, Kyonggi, and Gachon in Gyeonggi-do.


The University Creative Job Center will provide jobseekers with consulting services on employment and career development, etc. In addition, they will bring together and integrate functions related to employment and starting businesses that are now conducted by multiple departments within a university. The services will be available for students attending the relevant universities and jobseekers residing in the neighboring area.


Universities that participate in the project will receive an average of 500 million won per year, and the project period is five years, with financial support being extended based on the evaluation conducted after the first two years.
