Ajou signs an agreement on cooperation with the Korea Technology Finance Corporation and Shinhan Bank

Ajou University signed an agreement to improve competitiveness of the partner companies of its industry-academia cooperation program with the Korea Technology Finance Corporation and Shinhan Bank.


The agreement will serve as a system in which the three parties, including the University, effectively support the partner companies. Ajou's professors and students who start businesses and the University's partner companies are expected to benefit from the agreement.
 

The agreement signing ceremony, which was held on the afternoon of September 17th in Yulgok Hall, was attended by professors with administrative positions including Executive Vice President for Industry-Academia Cooperation Kyung Hee Choi, Dean of the Graduate School Joong Soon Jang, and Deputy Head Jae Jin Lee of the LINC Project Group from the University. Head of the Gyeonggi Business Department Myeong Ho Kim joined them from the Korea Technology Finance Corporation, along with Director Gi Han Choi of the Gyeonggi and Suwon Financial Department and other staff members from Shinhan Bank.


Executive Vice President Choi said, "The agreement will allow for efficient collaboration between the University's partner companies and the two financial institutions," adding, "I expect that the three parties of the agreement will work together closely."


Ajou's Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation helps its partner companies to receive consulting on technological transfer, and it cooperates with the companies in joint development and coaching regarding technologies, and education of their employees, etc.
