The Graduate School of Information and Communication Technology was founded in 1998 with the aim of retraining workers in information and communication areas. The school has introduced a variety of new programs including the 4-semester program, taught masters course, on-line education, and the like for the last 10 years, establishing itself firmly as an institution for retraining of the IT workforce. It plans to open programs for ubiquitous technology majors and media majors for the entertainment business.
