NEW [16.12.15] Ajou's Department of Software holds the 'Software Festival'

On December 8th, the Department of Software under Ajou University’s College of Information Technology held the 'Ajou Greative Software Festival 2016,' in which students in the Department taking classes in their majors displayed their projects and discussed them with others.
The event, which was held in the lobby and spaces on the second- through fourth-floors in Paldal Hall, displayed about 85 projects by 211 students taking Software Capstone Design, IT Intensive Course, Self-led Project, Self-led Research, System Programming, and Software Engineering classes and by those participating in Paran Semester – Ajou Creative Activity Program.
Students from local elementary, middle, and high schools also participated in the Festival, observing the exhibition and evaluating the projects.
The Department of Software (Director Ki Yeol Ryu) is receiving 6.5 billion won in research funds after being selected as a ‘Software Specialized University' in 2015 by the Ministry of Science, ICT, and Future Planning and is actively providing software education to students from other departments and local citizens, etc., as well as the students in the Department.
