NEW [16.12.14] Ajou alumni Won Gu Kang and Bae Kong receive a Plaque of Appreciation for their donations to the University

Ceremonies for presenting a Plaque of Appreciation to those who donated scholarships to Ajou University were held on December 13th and 14th.


On the 13th, the General Alumni Association of the Graduate School of Business Administration and alumnus Won Gu Kang (CEO of EP Global. Department of Chemical Engineering, entrance class of 1985) received a Plaque of Appreciation. President Jong Suk Lee represented the Association, which donated 10 million won to the development fund of the University Library.


Alumnus Kang also donated 10 million won for the Library. He has also made previous contributions to the After You Program and the 1-1-1 Campaign. Ajou University President Dong Yeon Kim delivered the Plaques and expressed his appreciation to the donors. Also in attendance at the ceremony were Vice President for Planning Jung Seob Lee and Executive Director Dong Woo Shin of the University Library.


Another ceremony was held on the 14th to present a Plaque of Appreciation to alumnus Bae Kong (CEO of Beacon I&C. Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, entrance class of 1989), who contributed 10 million won to the development fund of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He donated 10 million won last year as well.
