Ajou University's Graduate School of International Studies held a six-day, five-night event from December 5th to the 10th for the graduates of its KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency)-commissioned course.

The event was arranged to promote the excellence of the KOICA program through its alumni and share the best practices of applying program insights. The University invited those who have used their knowledge from the course in their work back in their home countries or those who were selected for giving lectures on their experience in South Korea from among the foreign alumni who completed the course between 2004 and this year.

During the event, the alumni shared various experiences through presentations and discussed the post-graduation plans of those who are now attending the course. Director Nebiyu Kokeb Lemecha (2005 graduate) presented on how he signed an MOU with South Korea's Public Procurement Service (PPS) and benchmarked PPS in his work in Ethiopia. Nepalese Acting Ambassador to India Krishna Prasad Dhakal (2007 graduate) explained how his experience of exchanges with students of more than 30 nationalities while attending the course in South Korea has been helpful in his work as an ambassador.

The invited alumni also participated in other activities that were prepared by the Graduate School and KOICA, including visits to the Gyeonggi Creative Economy & Innovation Center and the Incheon Free Economic Zone and the Alumni Night event.
