    - Investigations of Transport Properties: impedance spectroscopy, in-situ mass spectrometry, and  electrical measurements of ion/electron conductivity of materials and devices for energy storage and conversion applications (fuel cell, battery, supercapacitor, thermoelectric, water splitting, electrochemical nitrogen reduction, and desalination)
    - Energy-saving Chemical Separation: development of efficient materials and processes to obtain valuable products from various mixtures
