Applying for comprehensive examination of Fall, 2025
Applying for comprehensive examination of Fall semester, 2025 We would like to inform you of the matters regarding the comprehensive examination of Spring Semester, 2025 so if you want to take the exam run by each departments should apply within the due date. 1. Qualification: Student who earned 18 credits or more of major course for each degree course and 3.0 or better average grade and have applied for the exam during the application period with the recommendation of faculty advisor(The faculty advisor will process the exam procedure on AIMS) 2. Application period: September 9 (Tue), 2025, 09:00 – September 11 (Thu), 2025, 23:59 3. Procedure : application on the website(login to Portal → ‘Academic Affairs Information' → ‘Grade/Graduation'(on the upper side) → ‘Comprehensive Examination Application'(on the left side)) 4. Date of exam: To be announced by the departments during October - Please refer to the notice board from each departments for the details. 5. Passing : 60 points or higher out of the total of 100 points for each degree program - If failed to pass, re-taking of exam is possible regardless of number of tests taken 6. Study subject for examination - Master's program : MajorⅠ, MajorⅡ - Doctorate program and integrated program : MajorⅠ, MajorⅡ * As general test is progressed by study subject, inquire about detailed subjects and schedule to department 7. Confirmation of the result for foreign language test and comprehensive examination (Internet inquiry) - Procedure : Login to Portal → ‘Academic Affairs Information' → ‘Grade/Graduation'(on the upper side) → ‘Comprehensive Examination Application'(on the left side)) 8. Caution on applicants for qualifying examination - Before submitting the application, the test result has to be confirmed via Internet to ensure accurate application - The application period of academic affairs schedule for each semester has to be complied with, and the reception is not allowed after the deadline date that the note has to be made. (The schedule may be modified depending on the situation, and if indeed modified, it shall be posted on the homepage.) 9. For the Master and Doctorate integrated course students - If you wish to acquire Master's degree, the exam will be applied of Master's degree. - Who changed the course from Master's degree to the integrated course, the exam will be applied of Doctorate's degree. - Office of Graduate School -
Notice Regarding Course Registration for Fall 2025 (Graduate School)
Dear Students, This is Office of Graduate School. We would like to inform you of an important matter regarding course registration for the Fall 2025 semester. During a system test conducted in preparation for the regular course registration period, the course registration menu was unintentionally made accessible. As a result, some students were able to register for courses earlier than the official schedule. To ensure fairness for all students, we have taken the following actions: The official course registration period for the Graduate School is from Tuesday, August 5, 2025 at 09:00 to Monday, August 11, 2025 at 18:00, as previously announced on the university website and academic calendar. All course registrations submitted on Monday, August 4, 2025 have been deleted. Please make sure to register again during the official registration period noted above. We sincerely apologize for the confusion this may have caused and appreciate your understanding. Kindly double-check the schedule to ensure proper registration. Thank you for your attention. How to make student ID & apply for student ID card (1) Student ID New students in Ajou : Please refer to “How to make student ID & apply for student ID card.pdf” for application of your student(=portal) ID. ※ Birthdate should be entered with YY/MM/DD type. (Ex. 1991-08-13 -> 910813) New Students who were a student in Ajou : Go to our website https://portal.ajou.ac.kr/ –> Login by using portal ID and Password –> Please check the Student ID No. of graduate school as a representative authority (대표신분 설정) from the Tab under your name (2) Student ID card (physical IDs) - 1st: Portal ID made by Aug 4th >> Can apply the card in Aug 6th~12th - 2nd: Portal ID made by Sep 3rd >> Can apply the card in Sep 5th~11th * Student ID can be applied any time starting from Aug 4th before the semester, however the student card cannot be applied but the 1st and 2nd period noted above. ※ Mobile Student ID Card (Digital IDs) : It is an electronic version of physical IDs - Please download‘아주대학교 통합 모바일' from Google PlayStore orAppStore and log in with your ID. - It will only be possible to use the mobile ID card after you have made Ajou Portal ID and Agreement of personal information **Please DO NOT FORGET your portal ID and password!! 3.
