Office and Regulations for Ethical Compliance
Ajou University has an office for ethical compliance within our institution, with a designated official with oversight on ethical matters across the institution.
.AJOU University Human Rights Center
The Human Rights Center at Ajou University was established to protect the fundamental human rights of all university members and to realize the dignity and value of every individual. Creating a campus culture based on mutual respect among members is a concrete embodiment of Ajou University’s educational philosophy of “Respect for Humanity.”
The Center serves as a channel for protection and communication by providing counseling and handling cases related to human rights on campus. It also conducts regular surveys and research on human rights conditions and promotes a variety of educational programs.
Counseling requests can be made in person, by phone, or online, and all counseling sessions are strictly confidential. All contents and case processes are handled privately. The Human Rights Center will continue to cultivate an environment where it can fulfill its mission, striving to build a gender-equal and rights-respecting campus and to foster a happy and inclusive university community for all members.
