ON-CAMPUS IMMIGRATION SERVICE

[Ajou University On-Campus Immigration Service]

There will be on-campus immigration service on March 17th, from Suwon Immigration Center. It will provide 2 services, alien registration and visa extension with limitation of 200 applicants. Because all the students must have their own Alien Registration Card, please come and apply for the service that you need.

If you don't have any of the reuqired documents you won't be able to apply and you will need to line up again so please prepare the documents beforehand

 


When : March 17th 10:00– 17:00 (Please arrive before 16:00) - there will be a long queue so please come at least 30 minutes early

Where : Visual Conference Room (Yulgok Hall 151)

Things to bring :

 

[D-2 Registration]

1. Passport  2. Copy of Passport and Visa  3. 1 Color Photo (3.5cm*4.5cm, white background)  4. Application Form (for foreign registration)  5. Certificate of Enrollment (issued at Ajou Service Center, KRW 500)  6. Certificate of Health (designated 18 countries only)  7. Tax Stamp Fee (KRW 30,000 in cash)

[D-2 Extension]

1. ID card  2. Application Form  3. Transcript(issued at Ajou Service Center, KRW 500)  4. Bank statement(Over KRW 13 million)  5. Confirmation certificate of residence  6.Tax Stamp Fee (KRW 60,000 in cash)

 


Processing time for alien registration card : About one month

 


[2016-1 NEW STUDENTS]

If you are from 18 designated countries, you MUST have tuberculosis test result from Yeongtong Public Health Care Center. Otherwise you won't be able to apply alien registration card. Therefore please come to GSIS office on 11th of March by 10AM with the requirements so you can take the test - it takes 2 days for result to come out.
