NEW Former French faculty members visit Ajou University

On September 20^th, four former faculty members who served at Ajou University in its early days visited the University along with their spouses.

The visit by the French nationals, who worked at the University from 1975 to 1980, was arranged by Professor Yeong Bin Kwon (College of Computer Science & Software, Chung-Ang University), who entered Ajou University's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in 1974.

The French guests met with President Hyung Ju Park and toured the Center for Korea-Francophone Countries Cooperation, the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, and the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and donated 60 photographs of Ajou University in the early 1970s to the University Central Library, which is preparing events to celebrate Ajou's 50^th anniversary in 2023.

Michel Joubert, who served at Ajou University's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering from 1975 to 1977, said, "I was impressed by the University's development over the last 40 years and am very proud that it has made great achievements based on its cooperation with France."
