NEW Ajou University holds English Café with international students and faculty members

Ajou University held English Café with international students and faculty members.


The event, which was held in the Dasan Hall lobby on the evening of November 29th, was attended by about 150 international faculty members and students.


During English Café, which is hosted by the Department of English Language and Literature every semester, the international faculty members and students engage in cultural exchanges with Korean students on various topics. 


At the latest event, the participants discussed how their culture celebrates 'Christmas and the New Year' and enjoyed refreshments together. 


President Hyung Ju Park joined English Café and was welcomed by the students. He spent time with the participants, saying, "I have wished to have opportunities to communicate with international students in a casual setting like this one." The Student Council of the Department of English Language and Literature presented selected students with signed copies of President Park's book entitled Learn, Think, and Be Connected.
