DORMITORY APPLICATION
FOR SPRING SEMESTER 2025
Here is the announcement for the 2025 spring semester dormitory application at Ajou Dormitory. Please review the details carefully and submit your application within the given period. For information regarding the dormitory fee payment, please refer to the upcoming notice.
1. OPERATION PERIOD OF THE DORMITORY FOR THE SPRING SEMESTER OF YEAR 2025: 22 Feb 2025 (Sat) ~ 24 Jun 2025 (Tue)
Ajou dormitory will not accept early move in and late move out, you cannot request to put your stuff before you move in. Also, pillows and blankets are not provided.

Application Period : January 8, 2025 (12:00 AM) – January 12, 2025 (11:59 PM)
Room Allocation Period: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM on January 17 and 20.
*Room changes are not allowed after selecting a room.
3. NOTES FOR APPLICATION (신청시유의사항)
1) All buildings have the same application date.
2) After the 1st round of applications -> announcement of selection results -> room allocation -> payment, the 2nd round of applications will be held for any remaining vacancies. If there are no remaining vacancies after the first round, the second round may not take place. Therefore, it is advisable to apply during the first round if possible.
3) Students selected in the first round are not eligible to apply in the second round. Please carefully choose the building and room type during the first round of application.
4) Even if you select the option to stay in the same room during the second round of application, it will not be considered, and room assignments will be based on remaining vacancies after the first round.
5) Room allocation will be based on the same room you stayed in during the winter vacation.
4. CRITERIA OF APPLICANT (신청대상):
Enrolled Undergraduate, Graduate Students, Exchange Student, CIE students for Korean programs.
1) If you are an undergraduate student who completes the course work or
a special graduate student, you are not eligible to apply for the dormitory.
(학부수료생, 특수대학원)
2) If you are a student on a leave of absence and planning to return to school
in spring semester 2025, you are eligible to apply for spring semester 2025. (1학기 복학 예정자)
3) If you are going to apply for the Korean Programs in Ajou university, you can stay in the
Ajou university after confirmation from the CIE officer. (국제교육센터)
4) If you are a graduate student who completed the course work, you can ONLY
apply to the dormitory when you submit the below documents. (대학원수료생)
- Statement of Supervisor 1 copy (download the attached form)
- Completion certificate 1 copy
* You can only stay in the dormitory up to 6 semesters from the completion date of coursework, if there are enough rooms in the dormitory
* If there are no enough capacity in the dormitory, your application will not be approved even though you submit all required documents.
5. APPLICANT ROUTE (신청경로):
1) For Enrolled Undergraduate, Graduate Students
Step 1. Access to Ajou portal https://mportal.ajou.ac.kr/main.do
Step 2. Click "로그인하세요(Log in)" Top right of the page
Step 3. Change language into English - it is bottom of the page
Step 4. Click "(New)Academic Affairs Information (학사서비스)"
Step 5. Click "Application for Student living"+
Step 6. Click "Dormitory Application" (Left side of the page)
For resident who wants to stay in the same room of winter semester 2024,
you need to tick the question “I PREFER TO STAY IN THE SAME ROOM STAYING NOW”, when you apply for the dormitory in Ajou portal.
2) New Graduate student, Enrolled Exchange Students:
Log in at the online housing application system

After log in to the above website, please select the relevant option in blue box.

7. REQUIRED DOCUMENTS BEFORE MOVE IN (입사전제출서류)
1) Due date of document submission: 22 FEBRUARY 2025 (sat)
2) Tuberculosis test (결핵검사)
a. Before moving into the dormitory, all residents must submit a Tuberculosis (TB) test result. If you haven't done the test yet, please complete it before moving in.
b. You must submit a TB test result taken after February 22, 2024. The TB test is valid for one year and must be updated annually.
c. The test result sheet must indicate whether the TB test is normal or abnormal, and it should be in English or Korean.
d. Please submit your test result via the GOOGLE FORM. (The submission link for the Google form will be provided separately on the notice board. Please refer to the upcoming notice.)
3) STATEMENT OF SUPERVISOR, COMPLETION CERTIFICATE for a graduate student who completed the course works
a. Please submit two copies via GOOGLE FORM
b. You need to combine the above copies to One PDF file
4) SUBMISSION ROUTE (서류제출경로)
All required documents need to be submitted to GOOGLE FORM by due date (22 Feb. 2025). For more details, please refer to the notice regarding tuberculosis.
8. DORMITORY FEE REFUND BEFORE MOVE IN DATE
(입사 신청 취소 및 입사비 환불)
1) (겨울학기 입사자) If you are a student who stayed for the Winter Semester 2024 only, you have to move out from the dormitory by 17 FEB (MON) and request for withdrawal of the dormitory application to the dormitory coordinator, then full amount of dormitory fee will be refunded.
2) (겨울학기 미입사자) If you did not stay in the dormitory for the Winter semester 2024, you have to request for the withdrawal of dormitory application to the dormitory coordinator by 21 FEB (FRI). Then the full amount of the dormitory fee will be refunded.
3) To get a dormitory fee refund, you must have a bank account in Korea.
We do not give a refund to the bank account overseas.
9. MOVE IN PROCEDURE (입사절차)
Press door bell at the gate > Bring along your student ID card > Report to the inspector of each building > Move in
