Construction Schedule for the New Haengbok Dormitory (Happy Dormitory)

We would like to inform you that construction of the new Haengbok Dormitory (Happy Dormitory) is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, and the estimated timeline is as follows:

A. Entire Construction Period (Tentative)
July 23, 2025 (Wed) – End of June 2027

B. Requests for Cooperation

1. Detour for Pedestrian Access on the North Side of Dasan Hall (Toward Gwanggyo Jungang Station): From Monday, July 28
The walking trail on the north side of Dasan Hall will be closed as it is included in the construction site. A temporary detour path will be installed around the construction fence of the Haengbok Dormitory. Please use the designated detour path.
※ For your safety, please refrain from using the detour during rain, strong winds, or snowfall.

2. Restricted Use of the Temporary Parking Lot on the West Side of HyeGang Hall: From Thursday, July 24

3.Traffic Inconvenience and Campus Environment Impact due to Construction
Loud noise, dust, and vibrations are expected during the construction period. In addition, access to certain roads and parking spaces may be partially restricted due to the movement of construction vehicles.

We will make every effort to minimize any inconvenience caused by the construction. Please pay close attention to future announcements regarding the progress of the construction.
