[GSIS] We're looking for the new editors of 'Gazette' for 2016 Spring semester[CLOSE]

Dear GSIS Students,

 

Hello, this is Kyungrim Kim from GSIS office, Ajou University.

How is your new semester? Hope you have a good time during spring semester.

 

First of all, I want to introduce the ‘Gazette’. Gazette is a student-run news magazine of Ajou GSIS that displays GSIS students’ opinion on cutting edge international issues around the world. It also represents our students’ voices on many issues going on in and out of the Ajou campus. The ultimate goal of GAZETTE is to make the magazine appeal not only to the GSIS and Ajou students, alumni, and faculty, but also to prospective applicants and general readers around the world. The GAZETTE vol no. 1 was created in spring semester of 2002. There are three editors(from 2nd semester’s students) are going to figure out the Gazette with one of the professor from GSIS(Prof. Iain Watson).

Now, we’re looking forward new editors to 2016 spring semester. Editors will be in charge of, 

 

1. Writing the Gazette theme article.

2. Conducting the interview with students of GSIS, Nubi and other people.

3. Attracting article from GSIS students about the theme of this semester.

4. Attracting photo of GSIS Students

 

For this semester’s Gazette theme is 'Choices'. This could be issues of election choice, career choice, course choice etc.

 

The other hand, if you will be became a part of Gazette editors, you will get Gazette TA Scholarship.

For Gazette TA Scholarship, you should be required to submit below documents.

 

  1. Gazette meeting report.
  2. A copy of Bank book
  3. Gazette theme article(up to 500 words)

 

If you interested in Gazette Editors, please submit an article no later than 22nd of March (Please find an attached application form) to GSIS office and Prof. Iain Watson your final article via email.
