Conferment of Degree for the class of first semester of 2016(Graduation in February, 2017)

1. Notes for Graduates

- Students who want to attend the Graduation Ceremony should apply for attendance to each Department Office.

Attendants should be submit the below things to each Department office by email until Feb. 6^th(Mon), 2017.(Please refer to email address in attached file)

 a. Photo(The most meaningful picture during Graduate School)

 b. A short sentence (Describe your feeling about graduation)

* The photo & short sentence will be displayed on board in Graduation Ceremony

- Academic gown rental service : Feb. 16th(Thu) ~ Feb. 22nd(Wed), 2017 (Students can rent an Academic Gown from the Department office)

- Receipt of Original Diploma : After graduation ceremony, students can get the Original Diploma from the department office by returning to Academic Gown.

2. Graduation Ceremony (Conferment of Degree for the class)

- Date : Feb. 22nd(Wed), 2017

- Time : 14:00 ~ 15:50

- Venue : Gymnasium, Ajou University

- Students graduated in August 2016 and expected to graduate in February 2017 can attend the Graduation Ceremony.

- Procedure : Students will receive the ceremonial diploma from the President of Ajou and Dean of Graduate School personally. The Original diploma will be provided from the Department Office after graduation ceremony.

3. Notice for Graduation Ceremony

- Please enter the Gymnasium until 13:30(30 minutes before starting the graduation ceremony)

- Students have to write down the Course and Name on the list of Attendees which will be provided in front of the entrance. It will be transferred to the host of the Graduation Ceremony.

4. Notes for Attendees for Graduation Ceremony

- Please take a reserved seat until 13:30. (30 minutes before starting the graduation ceremony). Please wear graduation cap and gown. The graduation cap tassel should be put on right side of your face.

- After writing down the Course and Name on the list that provided from enterance, please give it to the host of ceremony when you go up onto the platform.

- Please go up onto the platform with the ceremonial diploma which provided in Gymnasium. When you go up onto the platform, you can shake a hand with the President of Ajou University and the Dean of Graduate school. After then, please take a seat after going down from the platform.

- The Graduation Ceremony will take 2 hours and students can't go out during a graduation ceremony.

- Taking a personal photo on the platform will be restricted during the ceremony. After Graduation ceremony, it will be acceptable and students can use the Photo-zone in the Gymnasium.

- Please receive the Original Diploma from the Department Office by returning to an Academic Gown.
