Ajou receives the Presidential Citation in Technological Innovation for SMEs

Ajou University received the Presidential Citation in Technological Innovation for SMEs at the opening ceremony of the 17th Innovative Technology Show, which was held on September 21st in KOEX.


Since establishing the Industry-Academia Cooperation Center for SMEs in 1992, the University has been supporting SMEs based on its network involving industries and academic institutes. In particular, it has carried out a total of 26 industry-academia cooperation projects over the last three years. The Presidential Citation is a recognition of Ajou's contributions to technological and business innovation for SMEs through 37 intellectual property rights and 43 cases of technological commercialization, etc.


The Innovative Technology Show, one of the largest events for SMEs in South Korea, is organized by SMBA with about 300 SMEs and relevant institutions participating. It is held from September 21st to the 23rd at the KOEX exhibition hall on the first floor.
